Shayleen McKinnon is the wife of Tom McKinnon, a high ranking executive at Spartan-Ives. She is engaged in an extra-marital affair with the company's CEO Lawrence Boyd. The discovery of this affair is the catalyst that brings about the eventual downfall of Boyd when Tom, learning of the affair, wears a wire provided by Chuck Rhoades and records Boyd confessing to rigging US Treasury bonds.
