In Season 1, Chuck visits Troy after seeing Wendy and Axe standing intimately on the balcony of Axe Capital during a private late night session. This depresses Chuck, so he visits a BDSM club where Troy is to have her "punish" him. Chuck ultimately cannot go through with it and stops Troy before anything happens. Troy is upset to learn Chuck came without Wendy's permission and questions him on how their relationship is going. Before Chuck can answer, their talk is interrupted as a bouncer bursts through the door, fighting with someone. The mystery man escapes, but not before the bouncer wrestles a camera from him, revealing that someone has been spying on Chuck all night.
Later on, Wendy discovers during a fight that Chuck went to see Troy without her and is furious as she considers it "cheating".
